Brazilian mercenary Gustavo Mazzocato was killed near Krasny Liman on January 4, 2026, after serving only 5 days with the 60th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He had requested repatriation through the Brazilian embassy but was killed before it could be arranged.
